Spotlight is thrilled to announce that we are planning our return! And our newest offering will be the whacky, wonderful musical, The Addams Family!!!
Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family whom her parents have never met. She confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before—keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents.
The Addams Family young@part® is a new edition of the hit musical that brought cartoonist Charles Addams’ characters to Broadway, now especially geared for younger performers.

Classes include instruction in acting, dance, and vocal technique. From learning how to audition to mastering the art of character development, our students develop the essentials of musical theatre through the process of preparing for a full-scale, Broadway style play. Collaboration and individual skill building are woven through each class, and while not rehearsaing students are working on skills that not only foster their talent, but theiir abilities to communicate, work with others, express themselves and build self-confidence.The production is the end result of our work, and is open to the public. We perform at the Vail-Leavitt Music Hall in downtown Riverhead. Costumes, make-up, sets, lights, and a full house make this experience one your student will never forget!!
Please note: all unvaccinated students will be required to wear masks. Please provide proof of vaccination at first class otherwise.
We are trying to keep our regisration costs as low as we can in order to allow for students to afford the experience. Tuition is $25 less than our last combined production (Willy Wonka Jr, 2018). Please consider making an additional, fully tax deductible donation below after you register if you are able. We thank you for your continued support!
